Welcome

I have joined Medium. For the last year or so, circa November 22nd, 2018 8:03 post meridian Samoa standard time zone, I have dreamed of launching a successful blog. I have done zero work since that time to actually do so. Well, not nothing, I’ve read many. I’ve grown my deep knowledge of blogging throughout this time by consuming hundreds, if not millions, of blogs.

I think it’s time I take the next step of actually putting ink to screen.

I started this arduous journey by checking out the best place I can post these. Through 8 minutes of Ask Jeeves searching, I found Medium . com.

This once great search engine brought me to my internet home. Much more cozy and comforting than my actual 3 bedroom*, 1 bath, Boston sports memorabilia covered, real-life home. I was already greeted by what seems to be a page set up for me to choose what I would like to sift through at my leisure.

*I have 2 friends who are willing to live with me. Pretty cool stuff.

“Select all the topics you’re interested in reading about” my new internet Castle advised me to do. I had such specific options to choose from, so advanced and progressive I thought this site to be. Topics like “crypto currency”, “psychedelics”, and “podcasts” jumped off the screen at me. How niche, how creative, how current of them.

A funnier person would have made a joke about the “LGBTQIA” selection and say things like “how absurd are the amount of letters they’re coming up with these days huh?”. “The alphabet only has 26 letters, how much more will they need!” said the funniest person on the internet. I bow to thee. As I could not come up with such humor in my pre-historic comedic brain. I am not there yet. But, hopefully with some work, and some blogging experience, I will get there.

From there I made three selections. I was forced to if I wanted to move on. They had me at their mercy. What was I to do? It was either follow their rules, or watch my 15 month long dream get crushed to bits. Here is a quick breakdown of my choices, and why I selected them.

1. Humor

I plan to be quite funny.

2. Sports

Please see paragraph 4. Lots of sports going on in my crib.

3. I don’t remember

I apologize to Medium, and the reader, for this. I made a random selection to expedite the process of getting my blogs up. This is not a representation of my character. I yearned for the platform, and in the process, I disregarded one of the most sacred events in my entrance to my new home. For this, I will promise to find the time to read of the topic I hastily made. I will immerse myself in whatever it has to be. And I will write about this topic in great detail one day*.

*Most likely not
