The high cost of impatience

Our world has a way for charging us us high fees for our impatience.

If you want to buy something and you’re not patient to save the money for it, you can go to a bank, get a loan and pay high interest fees for it.

If you want a boyfriend/girlfriend but you are not patient enough to really know the other person and build a relationship, you can be either scare the other person away or end up in a relationship with someone whom you don’t truly know (which is even worse)

If you want to build a business but you are not patient enough to put in the work first, well, you will not have a business at all.

When we are anxious we can spend too much time (and money) trying to hurry up things. Yet, this anticipation usually comes with a cost that is not worth it to pay.

Be patient.
