War on the Homefront by Vlad Putin

Frontline, PBS

Nov. 1st, 2022

Since his invasive assault on Ukraine, Soviet/Russian Pres. Vlad Putin has enacted savagery in the form of militant occupation of the former SU nation. Plus, he has control even over Russia under communist tyranny but certain people in the Soviet Union aka Russia refuse to be silent. At the risk of indictment and or persecution, journalists residing in Russia are attempting to expose the harsh truth about the Russian regime. So, Russia’s police forces and militia are cracking down on critics, journalists, and ‘traitors’ in Moscow and the rest of the nation to silence them at any cost. Things are worsening today in Russia since they invaded Ukraine. Working with Frontline, journalists in the Soviet Union, like Sonia S, are risking their lives and freedom in order to repel the oppressive deceit of Putin’s covert truth about his rule over Russia.

The repressive authoritarian government has been at its inflation since 1998 (even after the Cold War). Despite humanitarian aid, 43,000 Russian soldiers and police officials incl. stormtroopers deny their citizens access to food, meds, and other resources. They are keeping the public in Russia silent through force, threat, and totalitarian-styled law enforcement. At the cost of pointless war and senseless atrocities, Putin has been ruling over Russia with corrupt covert secrecy and communist facism, as his predecessors have for over 20 years, resulting in over two decades of deception, communism, and Marxist socialism.

Sasha is one of the journalists in Russia to have been caught and arrested by stormtrooper police in Russia for attempting to break the nation’s silence wrought by Putin and his Russian regime. They see this as fake news in the form of national treason. On the east side of Russia, in Siberia, a current Russian/Soviet nation, two Soviet journalists were reporting militant deaths that have been occurring since the war in Ukraine. Russia has a strict and facist law condemning and abolishing journalism as they perceive it as an act of treason.

As of Feb 20th, 2020, ethnic groups in rural areas of the country were secretly working with Soviet journalists in uncovering the secrets of Putin. A month prior, numerous bodies in shocking footage exposed Russian soldiers escorting many of the morbid carcasses of their fallen allies and their opposers alike. Some of the names of the dead were unveiled online but the Russian gov silenced this to uphold the law barring social media, journalism, and blogging, as they began to persecute those who to have opposed them this way.

As of March 4th of this year, the borders between Ukraine and Russia are currently closed. Since then, the dystopic state of Russia forced journalists and other freedom-seekers to get around their strict Marxist rules condemning social media use on related platforms like Facebook in the Soviet Union. Under these laws, today, Russian people and those in Ukraine who are against the Russian occupation see journalism as a chance to liberate both countries of its tyrannical communism for good soon.
