Call for submissions!

The Research Cell takes great pride in announcing that it is now accepting submissions for it’s blog, Social Side Up.

In the spirit of the new paradigm that the re-reading of Section 377 of the IPC opened up, this month we seek to look behind, at notion of Identity and Discrimination, to be able to better comprehend what lies beyond.

Social Side Up invites submissions, papers and Op-Eds, that reflect upon discriminatory practices based on one’s identity, be it his/her class, caste, gender, race, sexuality (the lines are often blurred), the socio-political dynamics that feed into the system propagating such practices, the economic implications of it, and how they further shape and influence their identity and consciousness, and social perceptions in general.

We are also accepting general submissions, essays, articles, critical appraisal of academic papers, commentaries and book reviews.

Deadline:19th September, 2018. Submissions to be mailed to researchcell.dse@gmail.com
